About Us
Welcome to iSLCollective.com, the 'Internet Second Language Collective! We are a community of language teachers from around the globe who share our home-made worksheets on this free-to-use platform! It's for all language teachers, whether teaching in schools or doing one-on-one private tutoring. Let's collaborate to make each other's preparation for classes simpler and our teaching richer! DOWNLOAD
Download worksheets free of charge! You can download and save any ready-made, printable worksheets in doc format for the teaching of English (and soon German) as a second language. Any of the materials uploaded here can be downloaded free of charge, and without having to contribute your own worksheets in return!
UPLOAD
Share your work! You are encouraged to share your own teaching materials with fellow teachers worldwide by uploading your work under your profile. However small your contribution is, don't think that your work is insignificant, because it may be just what another teacher in another country needs.
SOCIALIZE
Make it more personal! The website also fosters interacting between iSLCollective members, allowing you to write messages on member's walls, send private emails and comment on each other's worksheets. Click on your "My Page" tab, your personal space where you can upload a photo of yourself, and fill it up with as much personal information as you feel comfortable sharing. To get started, browse worksheets either by selecting a search category or tag, or by clicking on a worksheet in the Most Recent worksheets box. Bless up, Peter Laszlo (aka Kisdobos) and the iSLCollective Team
There are three of us founders. Adam and I had the idea for this website, and we teamed up with Bence. We launched the English site on September 30, 2009. We're all from Hungary, home of the Goulash, Rubik's cube and the Tokay wine. Soon our team started to grow, and now we have a number of volunteers, ranging from programmers to moderators and community outreach volunteers.
