I made this ws to practice the causative. This is a classic game where students bet with play money on whether sentences are grammatical or not. Game is to multiply their original capital of 100 dollars. Great game, tried it today, it gets adults engaged just as much as teens.

This time I compiled some tasks to check the knowledge of my intermediate, upper-intermediate ss. In this ws there are tasks to the tenses, passive, reported speech, if-clause and causative. It takes about 30 minutes to answer the questions. The key is on the 2nd page. The cliparts are from Philip Martin. Hope you find it useful. Hugs, Zsuzsapszi.

I use this activity when my students want to have a lesson over dinner or take a field trip to a bar :)
Print out and cut, have Ss choose a certain number. The student asks their question to the other students and the others take turn answering. I encourage follow up questions and discussion if the question/answer is interesting.
