diltoids are short riddles that give a number and an initial letter and you are required to complete that word
eg.
Q. 365d..... in a y.....
A. 365 days in a year
There are a wide variety of diltoids here (over 70). Some are easy and some are hard enough to puzzle myself and other teachers!
These riddles are great for getting a class talking and can be used in many ways- a warm up...teaching numbers...quiz...etc.
You may need to prompt your students with clues towards some of the answers.
