I give the article for homework.
The next class we check homework and talk about vocabulary and expressions. Students then work together in discussing and completing the various activities. This lesson was designed for a 2 hour class for adult intermediates. ***NOTE!*** Talking about stereotypes is always a little controversial so be careful! I focused more on softening the students' language than on correcting their ridiculous stereotypes.
