A very easy worksheet for young learners. The children have to make sentences writing the name and the age of the children in the picture.
Level: Beginner (pre-A1), Elementary (A1)

First study the article. I let them work with a partner on vocab, then we do the listening gapfill. After checking, students work in pairs or groups to complete the rest of the activities.
It ran long in most classes, so I usually cut out Activity 4.
This lesson was designed for a 2 hour conversation class for adult intermediates.

Students learn interesting age related terms as well as idiomatic language. They end the lesson using idiomatic language in a variety of role-plays. I recommend that they practice all the role-plays and present one to the class. Have fun with this one and don't be afraid to reveal your age!
