First students work together to piece together information about Marilyn Monroe. You can then ask Ss if they've heard any other gossip or rumors about her or any other celebrity.
Ss then work in partners or groups to complete the other activities.

Before doing the debate, give Ss some time to think about what they will say... it works a lot better if you give them time to prepare (depending on level).

The 5th activity is better for larger classes, it was fun but not sure if I'd do it again... it was difficult for me to explain how to do it.

This lesson was designed for a 2 hour class for adult intermediates.
