I designed this WS based upon Tracy Chapman's song as a tribute to Nelson Mandela. the procedure is quite easy : first the students read the song and try to fill in the blanks to build a coherent message and then they check with the song. the song is easy to find on Youtube. I cross-posted this WS both on ESLprintables and ISLcollective. Thanks for your comments.

This is a worksheet to be used with the film Crash. It's a great film to discuss racism, sexism, and discrimination. The activity requires students to identify characters in the film, think about the problems addressed in the film, discuss and write on these topics. I have used this in higher level ESL classes in France (1ère, Terminale and BTS). Ss generally have a very positive response to this film.
