Arguing is a special characteristic of humans that separates them from other creatures. It is a process where one individual claims a certain idea that may be in opposite to another person. Arguing is a special way of developing logical and reasoning skills. Therefore, you need to have the special leaning attributes to make use of the data around you and use it to support your arguments and claims. In writing argumentive essays, the same approach is applicable. You can simply convert your arguments in written form.

Argumentive essays should have the same paragraph structure and same steps in writing. In order for you to realize how to write this kind of article, we will go with the basics. The first thing that you need to know is the paragraph structure of a regular essay, argumentive essay included. There are only three of them. These are the introduction that will explain the topic of interest; it will be the main introductory scope to acquaint the readers with the subject; the body section that may contain a single or multiple paragraphs. You can write all the basic discussions of the essay here. This part will support the thesis statement that you have. The last part is the conclusion paragraph; this is where all the discussion ideas will culminate. It must contain a summary of the article and the resolution to the problem statement.

So how do write good argumentive essays? The first step to do this is to think of a good topic. A topic should be significant to the readers or audience. There should be available resources to support it. The topic must also be appealing to the readers that will make it interesting. Lastly, you must have personal knowledge and familiarity with the topic. This way, you can easily write the supporting proofs for your argument.

Next, acquire as many reference materials as you can. These materials will serve as your sources of info to establish your arguments. You should only use those documents that directly talk about the same topic as what you have. Moreover, a reference material must be something that you can use in order to support your general argument. They will be used as proofs for whatever argument you would like to establish.

Lastly, write the main parts of the essay. Include the paragraphs that we have mentioned above. When you do this, make sure that the body paragraphs will contain discussions to support your argument. There should only be one side of an argument. In your paper, highlight that side. Of course, it will also help to put the counterargument of the other side of the issue. However, be careful to show only your real take on the topic.
