Board game to play guess who in pairs or in groups. 

Pupils will have to ask yes/no questions and give short answers using BE or HAVE in the present. They will need vocabulary about physical description (hair, mouth, nose). Some help is given for the accessories. It can be used as a revision scheme.

This activity has to be the best I have ever created. You can use this for a variety of things such as describing people, playing guess who with a class, or even use it as a conversation starter. Use your imagination the uses are endless with this type of activity.

Look at the pictures and match the animals with the names.

ANIMALS GUESS

Each student gets one occupational description and photo card. They must keep their description and try to find the person with the corresponding picture.

I try to gather famous people/characters. Make students draw one card and other students ask questions to guess who it is. I find it better when i divide them into smaller groups so that everyone has to talk. Another way for more advanced students is for the one drawing the card describing it. Ask questions such as: Is it a he or she? Where is he from? What\'s his job? What is he famous for?

What animal is it? GUESS! Look at the pictures and match the animals with the names. 

Each student receives a card that consists of three pictures - two people they have to find and one person that they know. Their task is to describe the pictures they have and to find someone who has these people and who knows the information about them. The first student who finds full information is the winner!

This worksheet is meant for very young students. They look at the pictures that represent parts of  school supply. They have to guess what  it is. The words in the box can help. You can also use it as a game. The student who finds all the words first, is the winner.

I have created some cards with descriptions about jobs. We can use it in our lessons to evaluate reading and vocabulary. There are some jobs with different descriptions, since I wanted to evaluate some grammar structures.

Here is a game in group or whole class , you copy the adjectives on small papers, one pupil takes one the others have to guess asking yes/no questions , the winner takes his/ her turn. Great success in class if you let your pupils go to the teacher´s desk for that, Sylvie!:)
