Hi, Can you help me? How can you embed a sound object in a ppt so that it plays on other computers too? I could only link my sound files, so when I try to share it the sounds are no longer available.

Hi Peter! Which is your Power Point version? Maybe the problem is that you have to download the song (or copy it into your computer) and then, you have to add it to the file. It sometimes happen. Don't worry, it's probable that when you open the file again, it works :D. And in what concerns to powerpoints, i'd like to give you a suggestion. The problem is that when you upload a .ppt the maximum of it can be 25mb, and when I try to upload it, it doesn't work. I think it is because the system doesn't recognise it as a Power Point.

Hi Peter! I don't know which version of PowerPoint you are using, it all depends, but never mind please take a look at the following links. They may be useful :)

Thank you. That's just how I thought it should work. However, I follow through these steps, and my clips do not get embedded. Maybe only certain file formats are allowed or Powerpoint 2002 is too old to pull off this trick?

I don’t know Peter, but why not try to convert your PowerPoint to flash format?

There is a software called iSpring that can do the job for you completely free. You can try it free for a month, and if you don’t want to pay for it you can always use the free version and upload your power points from your computer directly to SlideBoom and from there embed your presentations to your website or blog. I use it and it works great. Read more about it here.

Hello dear Kisbodos,

The same happened to me ( I have the 2003 version) : It's because I used mp3....Your sound files must be wav. & it works fine ;-)

Hope this helps,

Liette

Ok, that sounds like a plausible explanation. I'll take a look at it, thx. :)
