This day started out as pretty moody for me with a client of mine being difficult with me. Hope your day was better. Although this put a damper on the day, right now my head is busy reading about some new, thought-provoking ideas that upend conventional thinking. :)
For example, I just surfed and explored Prezi.com, an innovative presentation tool that might just beat powerpoint *(created by Hungarians!), because I decided to include it in my ongoing lesson module on "How to present (in English)." So tomorrow I'll use our 60 minutes with my groups at NRC to explore the functions of Prezi on multiple laptops (and strictly in English), then create a Prezi and finally present it in-class. Sure sounds like a lot of fun!
Next, I surfed onto http://www.kitchenbudapest.hu/en/projects,
founded by Prezi founders, Adam Somlai-Fischer and Peter Halacsy (http://prezi.com/about/), and linked on the prezi site.
Check it out, you might find something there that gets your thoughts started and your juices flowing. And maybe some worksheet idea will come out of that, perhaps on inventions or innovations.
