Students learn/practice 1rst conditional with Murphy´s Law. It is lots of fun and students can also make their own laws based on their personal experiences. Cut out the cards and give them to students in pairs, or teams. Ask them to match the cards and set a time limit. To make the activity less time-consuming I have made the first halves green and the second halves pink. You can do this as a match. The first pair/team to match all the cards wins. When they´re finished you can ask them to talk about their most favorite ones, share their personal experiences or make new laws. Have fun!!! :)

The above downloadable handout is a great resource for high school students and adults at Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is a useful material for revising Conditionals in English, and is useful for strengthening your pupils' Speaking skills. It includes a key, too.

I've been teaching for 5 years. But honestly, I never really wanted to be a teacher. I mean it has never been my dream job. But when I became one, I decided to do my job well, and I began to enjoy it. So here I am.
