These are proverbs and sayings and their equivalent in the other language.
For advanced ESL and ELE students, they can provide fluency and help "mix with the locals"
These proverbs and sayings will prompt discussions in class, as to the origins and double meanings of certain terms.
I have them at hand to use one or two to fill in those empty last minutes of a class.
I have more to add, as this is one of those ongoing projects we all have.
I welcome contributions, questions and comments.

This downloadable printable is recommended for business/professional students, high school students and adults at Upper-intermediate (B2), Advanced (C1) and Proficient (C2) level. It is excellent for improving your students' Listening, Speaking and Reading skills.

from Spain

Hello!!! I've been teaching English as a second language to adult Spaniards for the past 25 years. I also teach Spanish to English speaking ex-pats.

My main focus is on conversational skills. My English worksheets are phonetically geared towards Spanish students.
