Students read a text about a trip. Then they write the verbs in simple past that appear in the text and their corresponding infinitive and translation. Almost all are regular. Then they answer a true or false questionnaire and correct the false information using negative and affirmative sentences. Then they answer some questions about the text. Finally, they ask their partner about a nice trip and write a little text with the answers. There is also a chart of some infinitives to write their corresponding irregular simple past and translation.

The above downloadable printable is best suited for high school students and adults at Elementary (A1) level. It is a useful material for consolidating Past simple tense in English, and is excellent for developing your class' Speaking, Reading and Writing skills. It is about the vocabulary topic of Holidays. It includes a key, too.
