A short letter to a friend describing her holiday. This reading comprehension exercise follows the "pre-while-post" structure. Then follow some grammar exercises, whose main focus is on the present progressive tense and the plurals of nouns. A secondary goal is to help students familiarise with the structure of letters.

The present downloadable handout is best suited for high school students, elementary school students and adults at Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is great for revising Present continuous (progressive) tense in English, and can be used for working on your students' Reading and Writing skills. It is focused on the theme of Tourism.
