The lyrics to one of Bob Dylan's most famous songs. Bob Dylan is the recipient of the 2016 Nobel Prize in Literature. Patti Smith represented him at the ceremony and sang this song. It was an extremely moving rendition. The song stands as a symbol of our difficult times with its imagery that suggest injustice, suffering, pollution, and warfare. It was written in 1963.
