A short exercise in which Ss must rearrange the words given into cleft sentences to emphasize one particular part. Includes an answer key and can be adapted for contrast by re arranging the sentences as a simple sentence and then as cleft sentences with "is"

The above downloadable worksheet is a great resource for high school students and adults at Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is aimed at practising Cleft sentences (e.g. It's Joey we're looking for) in English, and can be used for strengthening your groups' Speaking and Reading skills.
