A task for intermediate level pupils to practise comparatives and superlatives through a picture description and an introduction to a character named Arthur. In the first task the pupils have to look at the pictures and produce written sentences to compare a fairy and an ogre. In the second task there are sentences with adjectives in brackets which need to be changed to their ruperlative form.

The above downloadable teaching material is best suited for elementary school students at Pre-intermediate (A2) and Intermediate (B1) level. It is valuable for consolidating Comparison (comparative and superlative) in English, and is useful for working on your pupils' Writing skills.
