I give the article for homework. The next class we do the gap fill, vocabulary, and questions.
Afterwards students work with partners or in groups to complete the various activities.
The role-play was really fun. You might want to find the clips from the movies to show after your students have finished. Have the students watch the clip and then have them perform again to mimic the acting they saw.
The group activity also worked really well. I asked them to complete the chart based on my example poster and then I let them choose a picture to use for their own. Carefully monitor that Students are just thinking of the idea and not writing an entire movie!
