Cardgame to memorise words.
It is a fun way to learn words instead of a drill. However it is almost a drill.

How do you play it?
players: 2-6
shuffle the cards.
Everybody gets 7 cards. The other cards are put in a stack (A) in the middle with the pictures faced down. The top card on the pile (A) is turned and put next to the pile. This becomes pile B. The first player looks if he has either a card from:
• the same category or
• with the same coloured bar
If so,
• put the card on the card with the picture faced up on pile B. Say the word, the category and the colour: This is the lion from the animals. The colour is red.
If not,
• take a card from the pile A.
Then it's the next player's turn.
You can put a wild card (with the 8s) on any other card without regard of category or colour. The next player can put any card on the wild card as well.
Goal: The player who gets rid of his cards as first wins the game.
