No one ever said that English was an easy language to learn. Even when one is born into the language, many mistakes are still being made. Recommending to your students to watch shows/movies without subtitles doesn't always work, because in many media formats, there is too much slang being used. This sheet tests the students' understanding of how to use the correct form of the tenses, regardless of what they hear on the streets, or on TV.

The above downloadable teaching material is best suited for business/professional students, elementary school students, adults and students with special educational needs, learning difficulties, e.g. dyslexia at Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2) and Proficient (C2) level. It is great for teaching Present simple vs continuous (progressive) tense in English, and is useful for honing your learners' Listening, Spelling, Speaking, Reading and Writing skills.
