Here you have two situations for role-plays that can be used either as an oral exam or to practice in class. In pairs, each students will have a role (the witness of an accident calling the emergency services or the emergency service worker).
I gave students 5-10 minutes to think what they had to talk about and how they were going to develop the dialogue.
This is useful in order to evaluate speaking competences.
