Students will write a recipe w/o saying what it is – In class, they will share characteristics of the dish (see chart & sample below), mention ingredients, and explain how to prepare the recipe (w/o reading the document). Add Y for adjectives that describe flavor and texture, or use comparative/ superlative adjectives. Use the chart to add in classmate data.
NOTE: Students must explain how to prepare the recipe in their OWN words, not from a book or online recipe (only use for reference).
