This is particularly useful for teaching in Asia. Students usually cut off the end sounds for words, so this helps them to focus on the importance of the final consonants. They can then practice building from back to front for pronunciation and can follow up with a listening/speaking task. Closed pairs.

The present downloadable worksheet is intended for business/professional students, high school students, elementary school students, adults and students with special educational needs, learning difficulties, e.g. dyslexia at Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is great for consolidating Phonetics (pronunciation, IPA, phonetic symbols) in English, and is a valuable material for honing your groups' Speaking skills. It is about the theme of Alphabet, American/British English and Learning languages.
