The game practices 'will' for predictions by means of a fun grammar drill. You will need a set of playing cards and optionally some props to create a fortune telling atmosphere, e.g. colourful headcloth, crystal ball etc.
Students draw 4 cards for their partner and using the key given tell the future. You can also use it as vocabulary revision by simply replacing some of the events with items you have recently introduced.

This printable, downloadable handout is recommended for high school students, elementary school students and adults at Beginner (pre-A1), Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2) and Intermediate (B1) level. It is a useful material for consolidating Future simple tense expressed with WILL in English, and is excellent for strengthening your pupils' Speaking skills.
