This activity is good to use with new groups of students but goes with "old" groups as well. Students write down five things (keywords) about themselves. They pair up and start asking questions to find out why their partner wrote the keywords he did. Later they inform the rest of the group what they learnt about their partner.

The above downloadable teaching material is best suited for high school students, elementary school students, adults and students with special educational needs, learning difficulties, e.g. dyslexia at Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1), Upper-intermediate (B2) and Advanced (C1) level. It is valuable for practising Questions: WH questions (open-ended questions) in English, and was designed for strengthening your learners' Speaking skills. It centers around the vocabulary topic of Describing people.
