Board Game to practise future in the past verb forms:
was going to/planning to/thinking of/ on the point/verge of/was due to/would/was/were to and was were to have + PP. Because there are a variety of forms, this board game is appropriate for the higher levels. The grammar was taken from New American Inside Out Advanced Unit 4. Also appropriate for Cambridge courses such as CAE and FCE. Solution provided.

The above downloadable worksheet is recommended for adults at Upper-intermediate (B2), Advanced (C1) and Proficient (C2) level. It is a useful material for teaching Future tenses in English. It features the theme of American/British English. You will find the solution at the end of the worksheet.

I've been a teacher for the past 20 years and enjoy teaching adults using a variety of media resources. Lately I've been teaching Cambridge courses and have been interested in developing resources for FCE and CAE
