This worksheet may be used to teach Grocery Shopping Vocabulary.

It can also be used for Comparisons e g……… is less expensive than……….

It can also be used to teach British money terms.

Finally it can be used as a “Bingo “ game … one copy for the teacher and perhaps one for each pair of students use squares of black paper for the students to cover an Item as it’s called out

I’m sure there are other ideas out there please share them.

The above downloadable handout is recommended for high school students, elementary school students and adults at Beginner (pre-A1), Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is great for teaching Comparison (comparative and superlative) in English, and is a valuable material for working on your learners' Speaking skills. It is about the theme of Food.
