A gap reading for the topic. Cut the missing words; let the students first fill the gaps as thez see; then give them shuffled words; let them complete the text. Can be used as a pairwork if the students share the text and after filling the gaps should make up 3 (or more) questions about their part of the text. Then they change the texts and look for the answers. Changing is also possible before handing in the words pile - they can check the partner's gaps and brainstorm or correct.
