This is a sheet I made for my class of Japanese adults to write haiku in English. They had all written them in Japanese before, but learning about syllables was something new!
After they wrote the haiku, they read them aloud to the class. This activity took 2 30 minute classes to complete.
The words have a winter/fall focus since we did this activity in early December.

This downloadable worksheet is best suited for business/professional students at Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is a valuable material for working on your groups' Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing skills. It centers around the theme of Winter.
