Heads and tails of US coins

The persons and symbols shown on the four basic American coins are introduced. The worksheet has pictures of the presidents on the heads of, and photographic images of the symbols on the tails of, the US quarter, dime, nickel and penny. Teachers can instruct their students to write the coin amounts on the worksheet and/or indicate how many of a given coin is needed to make a dollar.

The above printable, downloadable handout is meant for adults at Beginner (pre-A1) level. It was designed for strengthening your pupils' Reading skills. It is focused on the vocabulary topic of Money.
