This worksheet is used during watching the movie. The best time for it is, of course, lessons before Christmas Eve.
The worksheet includes activities for the first 30 minutes of the movie. So that you would have enough time to fulfill all the tasks.
A list of the activities: filling the words into the dialogue, translation of the phrases into your language, answering the questions, putting the phrases of the conversation into the correct order and learning new vocabulary though the pictures (matching).
P.S. the second task represents translation of the phrases into Russian so that you can easily remove them and write in your language.
P.P.S. IF YOUR CLASS IS RATHER WEAK ITS BETTER TO WATCH THE MOVIE WITH ENGLISH SUBTITELES AND CHECK THE STUDENTS' UNDERSTANDING OF THE PLOT.
As a hometask I can suggest to watch the movie till the end and discuss it later, after holidays.

The present printable, downloadable handout is meant for high school students, elementary school students and adults at Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is aimed at teaching Past simple tense in English, and is excellent for strengthening your students' Listening, Spelling, Speaking, Reading and Writing skills.
