I Wish

This is to practice writing about wishes. It covers some ways to write about wishes of the past, present, and future. In class I spoke about different ways to express regret and hope.

The worksheet intentionally has a narrow scope as I didn't want to over-complicate things with "if only" sentences or other ways to use the word wish.

Some of my sentences and examples are from the following sources:
- British Council, "I Wish"

- Perfect English Grammar, "Wish Exercise 1"

The above downloadable worksheet is best suited for business/professional students, high school students, elementary school students and adults at Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1), Upper-intermediate (B2), Advanced (C1) and Proficient (C2) level. It is a valuable material for improving your pupils' Writing skills.
