Teacher elicit some personal information as a way to provide students with examples. Then model the answers to the questions and invite students to mingle and interview their classmates.
Another way to get students talking and asking as many classmates as possible, this game can be played with 'onion ring' technique: have students in two circles (inner and outer circles) and clap for them to change partners.
As a follow-up T can ask sts to sit down and choose someone they've interviewed and report what they've found out. Students can use/practice object pronouns.
Enjoy!

This printable, downloadable handout was created for adults at Beginner (pre-A1) and Elementary (A1) level. It is aimed at practising Questions and Questions: WH questions (open-ended questions) in English, and can be used for working on your groups' Speaking skills. It focuses on the theme of Socializing, small talk.
