About 1 hour - includes gapfill, sentence matching, word separation and speaking questions. An old-time song which a lot of students know. There is a lyric video on youtube, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvvJ7MYaK8o which I used to check understanding. Listening, not video. Useful for a relaxing lesson!

The above downloadable worksheet is recommended for adults at Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is great for teaching Conditional 2 (second conditional) - would in English, and is excellent for developing your students' Listening, Speaking and Reading skills. It centers around the topic and words of Friends and Personality and character.

Hi! I live in New Zealand and teach low-level and often pre-literate refugees and migrants where the emphasis is on communication before proficiency! Speaking, pronunciation, listening, reading and writing are the skills these students want and need first to survive in their new environment. Very interesting!
