It is the 1st chapter of the famous book "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte. The text is followed by a great number of vocabulary, grammar, comprehension check, speaking and writing exercises. The chapter is suitable to discuss such topics as childhood, personality, family, people relations. This worksheet is pretty good for pre-intermediate and above levels.
