This short reading article is about some of Japan's cultural passages. It corresponds with the Interchange 3, Unit 11, page 42 lesson. It can be used as a speaking task. Let the students tell about the rite in their own words. And it can be a comprehensive reading exercise if you have a few questions after the reading.

This printable, downloadable handout is meant for business/professional students, high school students and adults at Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is useful for strengthening your pupils' Speaking and Reading skills.
