I find it easier to introduce the simple present tense to primary school kids through the verb "LIKE". Here, you will find four pages of exercises (reading, writing and oral practise) all centred on this verb in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd persons singular. Students will be able to practise giving short answers, interviewing a partner, reading about a Super-family, filling in a chart about what they have read, orally presenting their findings, etc. This probably works best for 9-11 year olds.

The above downloadable worksheet is a great resource for elementary school students at Beginner (pre-A1) and Elementary (A1) level. It is great for consolidating Present simple tense in English, and can be used for enhancing your class' Speaking, Reading and Writing skills.
