A new worksheet with 24 sentences to practise rephrasing with linking words. The students have to use the linking word in brackets and make the necessary changes when rewriting the sentences. Useful for advanced & proficient students. Key included in the worksheet. Thanks Philip Martin for clipart. Hope it's useful! Gloria

The present downloadable worksheet is intended for high school students and elementary school students at Upper-intermediate (B2), Advanced (C1) and Proficient (C2) level. It is a useful material for teaching Conjunctions (aka connectives, e.g. and, but, or, so, then) in English, and can be used for working on your groups' Writing skills. You will find the answers at the end of the worksheet.

My name's Gloria. I'm Spanish. I've been a teacher for years and more to come. I sometimes hate teaching, but I think I couldn't live without those crazy teenagers. I'm also in ESl printables & busyteacher(nickname: dinglesazara) That's part of my school name.
