Mini Reading passages: Monkey Business!

MrsFrobisher 2017-05-21 14:38:06

Five short activities; the main focus is the past simple tense. A variety of activities: answer the questions, T or F, match-up and add the punctuation. I've included a full key as I think the punctuation exercise is really hard! The monkey jokes are adapted from the internet. 'Monkey Business' is an idiom which means 'messing about', 'silly behaviour'.

The above downloadable printable is intended for high school students and adults at Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is a useful material for revising Past simple tense in English, and can be used for developing your learners' Reading skills. The exercises come with a key.
