This set of flashcards can be used to practice the names for different family relationships. There are answer strips provided which the students can cut out and match with the card or even glue on to a simple family tree diagram. This can also be used to teach simple possessives. The teacher can have a student choose a card and then read out the relationship while the students try to guess the answer. This provides reading, speaking and listening practice.

The present downloadable printable is intended for elementary school students, kindergartners and nursery school students and adults at Beginner (pre-A1) and Elementary (A1) level. It is a useful material for practising Pronouns: Possessive pronouns (e.g. my, mine) in English, and is excellent for improving your groups' Listening, Speaking and Reading skills. It focuses on the vocabulary topic of Family. There is a key provided with the exercises.

I teach English to adult refugees. My students inspire me to be a better teacher and I hope to post some of the materials I create for my students. My students need "Survival English" so I don't focus on grammar or writing

but we laugh a lot and enjoy our time together.
