A1 Muilti-purpose worksheet. Students fill in the gaps in a narrative of a past event with the past simple tense of the verb to be: was or were. Then students choose the right adverb of degree in exercise 2 following the use in the previous one. Finally students complete a chart according the narrtive in exercise 1.
