By means of a picture of a house as a starting point, students are encouraged to write a description, more or less guided depending on their level. Then they must find some household items and tell their classmates where they are in the picture. If you have some spare time, a bingo may be a nice end.

The present printable, downloadable handout is a great resource for high school students, elementary school students, adults and students with special educational needs, learning difficulties, e.g. dyslexia at Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2) and Intermediate (B1) level. It is great for consolidating Prepositions of place in English, and is excellent for working on your groups' Speaking and Writing skills. It centers around the vocabulary topic of Furniture and Home.
