This is a reading lesson on Japan New Year traditions. It corresponds with the Touchstone 2, Unit 4, page for textbook. It tells of some popular traditions and has a few pictures. It can make for a great reading comprehensive lesson if you add a few questions after reading the article.

The present printable, downloadable handout is meant for business/professional students, high school students and adults at Pre-intermediate (A2) and Intermediate (B1) level. It can be used for working on your learners' Reading skills.
