These can be used in a number of ways. They were made to set-up a sushi-line conversation in which students practice past simple, present continuous and comparatives. For example, "73 years ago, people used giant computers. These days, people are using smaller, faster and cheaper computers." *Please note that these were made for Thai students, so you might need to change the images to make them more culturally appropriate.

The present printable, downloadable handout is intended for business/professional students, high school students and adults at Pre-intermediate (A2) and Intermediate (B1) level. It is aimed at practising Comparison (comparative and superlative) in English, and is a valuable material for improving your learners' Speaking skills. It focuses on the topic and words of Culture, intercultural communication, cross-cultural communication.
