This worksheet is based on a short BBC video about the escape of an octopus from a New Zealand aquarium. There is a vocabulary matching exercise as a pre-listening activity, a True/False comprehension exercise, a grammar exercise (students are given the transcript and are asked to put the verbs in brackets in the correct tense, active or passive) and finally there is a trivia quiz about octopuses. Answer key included.

This downloadable worksheet is a great resource for high school students, elementary school students and adults at Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is a useful material for practising Irregular verbs and Verb tenses in English, and can be used for honing your groups' Listening skills. You will find the solution at the end of the worksheet.
