It is the typical "odd one out" exercise but with homophone words. Students have to identify the ODD word in the group and write its homophone on the right side.

This printable, downloadable handout is a great resource for high school students at Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is aimed at revising Homonyms (two words with the same pronunciation - homophones and homographs) and Phonetics (pronunciation, IPA, phonetic symbols) in English, and is excellent for enhancing your pupils' Reading and Writing skills. It centers around the vocabulary topic of Homonyms. There is an answer key provided with the exercises.
