In the vain hope that a few pictures would help my students distinguish between the past continuous and simple past, I knocked together this worksheet. I haven't tried it yet. Let's hope it works. An answer key has been provided.

The present printable, downloadable handout is meant for business/professional students, high school students, elementary school students, adults and students with special educational needs, learning difficulties, e.g. dyslexia at Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2) and Intermediate (B1) level. It is a useful material for consolidating Past continuous (progressive) tense in English, and is excellent for strengthening your class' Speaking, Reading and Writing skills. The exercises come with a key.
