Simple exercise to see the differences between these easily confused tenses. Exercise one is more simple as the auxilar have is already in the sentences so the students only need to think about the participle. Exercise two they have to think about the whole verb!

The present downloadable handout is meant for high school students and adults at Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is great for teaching Present perfect or past simple tense in English, and was designed for strengthening your class' Writing skills.
