A quick warm-up exercise based on the "find someone who" format with questions concerning the events of the Christmas break.

A nice way to begin the first lesson after New Year. Just distribute one worksheet per student and ask them to walk around the room and find people who meet the given criteria. Finding such people is not enough. They need to ask for some details.

Remember to get some feedback after the exercise is done.

The above downloadable teaching material is intended for business/professional students, high school students and adults at Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1), Upper-intermediate (B2) and Advanced (C1) level. It is a valuable material for developing your students' Speaking skills. It is focused on the theme of Christmas and New Year's Eve.
